Well, okay, maybe not the women. But there will be wine and song at the Festival Fundraiser on Friday, 9 March. Tickets are a mere £5 on the door, and for that you get cheese and wine, live entertainment from musicians Rob Howard, Laura Bonnett and David Kernick, and entry to the quiz — and a chance to snag some prizes for you and your friends.
The event kicks off at 7.30pm at St Paul’s Church, Bryer Road.
All proceeds will go towards this year’s Prescot Festival, which features 10 days of music, culture and entertainment, including Liverpool Mozart Orchestra, “Brass & BBQ” and a special screening of the hit 2006 film The Queen.
