The Prescot Festival Chorus will gather on Saturday 22 June to sing Gabriel Fauré’s enduringly popular Requiem. Ian Wells (Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool Parish Church) returns to conduct, with Peter Kwater (St Bartholomew’s Rainhill) at the organ. The performance takes place at 7pm in the historic, Grade I-listed church of St Mary the Blessed Virgin, Prescot.

[Update from the festival director: Many thanks to all who supported the terrific Trinity Girls Brass Band concert, a Prescot Festival Fundraiser, at Prescot Parish Church on Friday 8th March. After costs, the event raised £132.21 for Festival funds. This year’s 20th Prescot Festival of Music & the Arts takes place from Friday 21st June
