Festival Diary: Day 1 – Prescot Festival Now On ‘Til 24 June

2012 Prescot Festival

The Eighth Annual Prescot Festival opens tonight with Brass & BBQ. The Parr Band concert is indoors, so the event will go ahead come rain or shine!

We have brass bands, classical orchestras, gospel choirs, film, acoustic music and more for you this year. See the full Prescot Festival programme here.

Tickets are £6 (including a barbecued burger or hot dog in the interval), and it’s not too late to buy on the door. See you there?

On Wednesday in your catalogue there is to be a music competition in one of the schools in Prescot. (I cannot find it on the Website anywhere, it only seems to deal with what has already happened and have very little about further performances)
It says the concert is ‘Free’! Does that mean you can just turn up or do you have to obtain a ticket.
Can you let me know by return as I would very much like to go but would need to make arrangements before then
    Kind Regards

Hi, Doreen. There are no advance tickets for Wednesday, so just come along. I’ve dropped you an email in case you don’t see this reply.

The full schedule is here, by the way: https://prescotfestival.co.uk/prescot-festival/

      Best,

      Dave

I popped into The Old Mill today and was told they knew nothing about the Open Mic evening on Weds 20th June. Can you confirm if it is on please? Thanks.
