Last month’s music and poetry recital raised £270 towards urgent repair and restoration work on St Mary’s Jacobean roof.
The 26 September programme, which commemorated 100 years since the outbreak of World War One, featured music by such organ luminaries as Bach, Vierne and Widor, with Parish Organist Tim Hall at the console.
The poems of WB Yeats and Wilfred Owen were among those recited.
