Come & Sing Mozart’s Requiem

mozart_requiemThe Prescot Festival Chorus will perform Mozart’s Requiem as part of the 12th Annual Prescot Festival of Music & the Arts, and all sopranos, altos, tenors and basses are invited to ‘Come & Sing.’

The concert takes place at Prescot Parish Church on Saturday 18 June 2016 at 7pm, with rehearsals on Wednesday 15 June (7pm-9pm) and on the day (3pm-5pm). James Luxton of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral conducts, with Peter Kwater of St Bartholomew’s, Rainhill, at the organ.

    Can we just buy tickets on the door to come and watch this ?

      Hi, Debbie. Yes, you can buy tickets on the door. The cost is £5, and children under 16 are free with a paying adult. It starts at 7pm, and the second half is with Wigan Youth Brass Band. Hope to see you there!

    It’s a couple of years since I sang the Mozart with Frodsham & District C.S. I enjoyed last night’s performance, which seemed a good one from the back of the small but capable bass section of only eight singers :-). Congratulations and thanks to all concerned.
