Christmas 2016 in Prescot

charityxmasconcert2016-copyAs has become an annual tradition, the key event of Prescot Festival’s own festive programme this year is the Mayor of Prescot’s Charity Christmas Concert.

This jubilant evening of favourite holiday tunes and carols takes place on Thursday 8 December at 7pm in Prescot Parish Church. Tickets are just £5 on the door, and children are free (under 16, accompanied by an adult). Entry includes seasonal refreshments afterwards.

christmas-lights-switch-on-2016We are pleased to welcome Brassworks Quintet, along with the staff and pupil choirs of Evelyn Community Primary School, St Mary & St Paul’s School Choir, Knowsley Ladies’ Choir, and Prescot Parish Church Choir and Organist.

The concert runs straight through to 8.15pm, with no interval, so parents of young children can still get back home for an early night.
