The Prescot Festival of Music & the Arts has received a prestigious borough-wide award for the second time.
At a gala ceremony earlier this month, the festival was announced Cultural Organisation of the Year at the 2017 Knowsley Sports & Cultural Awards.
It last held the honour in 2015.
Artistic Director Dr Robert Howard also won Cultural Volunteer of the Year, with festival copywriter, designer and webmaster David Kernick in third place.
Warmest congratulations also go to runners-up MATE Productions, famed for their stunningly imaginative stagings of Shakespeare in Prescot and beyond.
Presenting the awards were author Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Mayor of Knowsley Cllr Frank Walsh (pictured with Dr Robert Howard, David Kernick, Laura Howard & Dot Howard).
