UPDATE: The concert on Saturday 17 December 2022 has been unavoidably postponed. Culture Knowsley will notify ticket-holders individually and announce new dates as soon as possible.

The world-renowned Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, will sing in Prescot Parish Church this December.

The festive concert takes place on Saturday 17 December, and marks the end of Knowsley’s year as the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture.
The much-anticipated event also celebrates centuries-long ties between the college and the town of Prescot. When King Henry VI founded the institution in 1441, he donated the income from his land at Prescot to fund the endeavour – and King’s College remains patron of Prescot to this day, a connection seen in the crest they share.
Daniel Hyde conducts the choir in the first of only two engagements outside Cambridge over the festive period. The evening promises traditional Christmas carols and an opportunity for the audience to sing along with some Yuletide favourites.
Tickets details will be announced soon.
