The concert takes place at 7pm in Prescot Parish Church, and entry is free. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Proceeds from the raffle will be distributed to local good causes specially selected by the Mayor of Prescot.

On Saturday 7 December, the Girl Choristers of Liverpool Cathedral are at Prescot Parish Church to perform Benjamin Britten’s celebrated choral composition A Ceremony of Carols, conducted by Stephen Mannings and accompanied by Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra harpist Elizabeth McNulty. Tenor Damian McKeefe follows this with Franz Schubert’s Winterreise (‘Winter’s Journey’), with Stephen Mannings at the piano. Tickets are £10 for adults and £6 for children, and can be bought in advance from Eventbrite.
